
Happy New Year 2019 – We have about seven inches of fresh snowfall from the storm on New Year’s Eve. Because there was NO base before this, the groomers have made the decision to not try to groom. Especially since it’s supposed to warm up on Friday. See below weather forecast from TV 9 & 10.
Today: A weak system will move in today giving us scattered light snow showers through early tonight. Overall most of us are looking at 1-3? of fresh snow by tomorrow morning. Highs range from the mid 20s to low 30s with winds out of the Southeast/South at 5-10 mph.
Tonight: Snow starts to come to an end just after midnight with overnight lows dropping into the mid teens to mid 20s. Skies will be partly cloudy with light winds.
Tomorrow: Skies are looking partly to mostly cloudy with some light snow or mix possible for the Tip of the Mitt and Eastern U.P. in the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the upper 20s to mid 30s.
Friday: A nice end to the week with partly sunny skies and warmer highs in the upper 30s to mid 40s.
The Weekend: Saturday and Sunday look wonderful with nice sunshine and warmer temps! We see mostly to partly sunny skies Saturday with highs reaching the lower to middle 40s. Sunday will also be mostly to partly sunny with temps in the upper 30s to mid 40s.
Next Week: We are watching another system closely for Monday and Tuesday of next week. Right now it looks like rain, mix and snow moves in Monday with highs in the mid 20s to low 40s. Tuesday will start off with rain and mixed showers but turn back over to snow as temperatures fall throughout the day. Highs will be in the low 30s to low 40s.
