TV 9 & 10
Today: The U.P. is looking at partly to mostly cloudy skies while the Lower Peninsula sees mostly to partly sunny skies and highs in the mid 30s to mid 40s. Winds come out of the Southwest/West at 5-10 mph. Overall a very nice day across Northern Michigan!
Tonight: Skies are going to be mostly clear to partly cloudy with some patchy dense freezing fog. This could create slick spots out there for Saturday morning. Overnight lows drop into the 20s with Southwest/West winds at 5-10 mph.
Your Saturday: Your morning starts off mostly cloudy but things turn partly sunny for the afternoon and evening. Highs remain above average in the mid 30s to mid 40s. It’s going to be a great weekend to get outside and enjoy the fresh snow!
Sunday: A nice day in store Sunday as well with mostly to partly sunny skies and temps in the upper 20s to upper 30s.
Next Week: We are watching a system closely for Monday which brings in rain, mixed and snow showers. This will create a sloppy, slushy mess across Northern Michigan. Highs range from the upper 20s to low 40s with gusty winds. This system will move out by Tuesday morning but scattered snow showers take over for the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the upper 20s to low 40s. Lake effect snow will be out there for your Wednesday with highs in the mid 20s to mid 30s. Thursday is looking at some isolated lake effect under partly to mostly skies. Highs reach the mid 20s to mid 30s.
