9 & 10 weather: This morning things are cloudy with temperatures ranging from -1 to 21 degrees. Winds are out of the South/Southeast at 5-10mph. Overall this morning will be pretty quiet. Today will be cloudy with some snow starting to move in around 5 or 6 this evening. Winds will be breezy out of the South/Southeast at 8-18mph with highs in the low 20s to low 30s. Snow accumulations today will be light. Tonight will be snowy for the Eastern U.P. and parts of the Northern L.P. while the Central L.P. will see a touch of snow heading into tomorrow morning. 1?-3? will be possible by tomorrow morning for the Eastern U.P. while much of the Lower Peninsula will see an inch or two. It is possible to see 3? on the Lake Michigan shoreline by tomorrow morning. Overnight lows will be in the teens and 20s with winds out of the South/Southwest at 5-15mph.
Friday will bring some snow throughout the day with another inch or two possible for the U.P. and Northern L.P. Highs will be in the upper teens to upper 20s. Saturday will be mostly to partly sunny with highs ranging from 11 to 20 degrees. Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs again ranging from 11 to 21 degrees. Sunday night into Monday will bring in a system from the West/Northwest which will create sloppy conditions for Northern Michigan.
A stronger clipper system will move through Monday which will give us windy conditions and moderate to heavy snow at times. Highs will be in the low 20s to low 30s. This clipper system will move out Monday night leaving us with much quieter weather for Tuesday. Partly cloudy skies and warm temps will be in store for Tuesday with highs getting into the upper 20s to mid 30s. Wednesday will be cloudy with highs in the low 30s to maybe a low 40 reading! -Meteorologist Michael Stevens
