Snowmobile Conditions 12/24/13 – Trail base is at about five inches and reported to be in good shape. The weather is for continued cold (it was -16 at my place this morning, brrrr) and more snow. A clipper is supposed to be coming in tonight and tomorrow. Note of warning from groomer driver Keith…There is an active logging operation on the Lovells trail that has about a half mile of trail tied up for trucks to gain access to the landing and this occurs at 47-19 mile marker, just a heads up and there’s nothing that we can do about it. Fortunately this will be short lived.
Please remember that our groomer drivers are all volunteers; please give them a wave or thumbs up as you pass them, and try to stay out of their way – they are much bigger than you are and harder to stop!
Grayling is a great place to visit any time of the year but there is something magical about winter in northern Michigan. Miles and miles of forests covered in a fresh blanket of snow, friendly people and great times are never far! Make your next vacation a trip to Grayling and the surrounding areas, you will be glad you did.
