XC Ski Conditions 1/10 – Forbush Corner: We will be open today thru Monday. Received about 3 inches of heavy wet snow on Monday and then some rain, but no real melting. Yesterday received lake effect snow all day and have an additional 5+ inches of new snow. The trails should groom up very nicely today. We plan to have the east side groomed for Thursday and we will continue to work on opening all trails for the weekend.
Hanson Hills: Groomers Tommy G. and Jason are out on trails this morning combing skate lanes and setting fresh tracks on GREEN, BLUE and RED trails. Yellow and Brown to follow
XC Ski Headquarters: More snow is here!! We received about 4-5 inches of snow in the last 36 hours, which has set up nicely on top of our base. It continues to snow, and Groomers Mike and Bob are Ginzu snow-combing the skate lanes and setting classic tracks this morning. We expect great, mid-winter conditions on all trails for classic and skating by 11am this morning! With the pleasantly cold temps in the forecast, conditions should stay great for the foreseeable future!
