So…we had rain yesterday. And it’s icy. Rats.
The good news – snow is predicted.
Tonight: Lake effect snow showers will lead to accumulations of 1-3? across the Northwestern Lower & Northern parts of the U.P. with isolated higher amounts possible. Most areas across Northern Michigan will see a trace to an inch of fresh snow heading into tomorrow morning. Overnight lows drop into the lower to middle 20s with winds out of the Northwest/West at 8-18 mph. Roads could be snow covered or slick heading into Wednesday morning.
Tomorrow: Lake effect snow continues for your Wednesday with highs in the mid 20s to low 30s. Accumulations are looking like another 1-3? for the Northwestern Lower & Northern parts of the U.P. with isolated higher amounts possible.
Thursday: Some lake effect snow will be out there Thursday but it won’t be as widespread or as heavy as Wednesday. Highs are cooler back in the low teens to mid 20s.
Friday & The Weekend: Partly to mostly cloudy skies across Northern Michigan for your Friday with the chance for some light lake effect. Highs range from the mid teens to upper 20s. Saturday is looking cloudy with the chance for some snow showers as a weak disturbance moves in from the West. Temps will be in the mid teens to low 30s. Sunday sees partly sunny skies and some isolated light snow possible. Highs will be in the mid teens to upper 20s.
