TV 9 & 10 weather: This Morning/Today: Scattered snow showers along a cold front is pushing through Northern Michigan this morning. Reduced visibilities, slick roads and falling temperatures will be a concern as you leave the house this morning. Bundle up and take your time as this scattered snow will turn to lake effect snow and commutes could be very slow in areas. Winds this morning are out of the West/Northwest at 5-15mph. Today is going to start off with scattered snow showers and warm temperatures but lake effect snow will impact most of the Western half of the Lower Peninsula and Northern half of the U.P. Temperatures will fall throughout the day and settle around 8 to 25 degrees. Winds will be out of the West/Northwest at 12-25mph which could create some slower travel conditions.

Friday: Lake effect snow showers continue Friday with highs ranging from 8 to 18 degrees. Winds will continue to be on the breezy side of things making it feel much colder than it actually is.
The Weekend: Scattered system snow moves through Saturday with highs in the mid teens to mid 20s. Winds could be a bit gusty at times blowing and drifting snow around Northern Michigan. Any travel plans will be a bit slower all across Michigan. Sunday is looking cloudy with occasional snow showers. Highs will range from 10 to 20 degrees.
