XC Ski Conditions 12/27
Forbush Corner: 12/26 We received some freezing rain this morning and it is lightly raining and 34 degrees. The rain has just about ended, but roads are still slippery. We will open at noon today for classic skiing only. Once the temps drop below freezing tonight we will be able to groom the trails with the Pisten Bully for Tuesday.
Hanson Hills: Downhill and Tubing Operations Hours are 11am-8pm today!! Nordic Trail Report: Groomers Jason and Tommy G. Are out this morning, trails are grooming out nicely but we have a lot of sticks to clean up from last nights high winds. Fat Bike Trail: trail is firm and fast
XC Ski Headquarters: After yesterday’s warm spell, we are back down to temps in the low to mid 20’s, which is low enough for Ginzu Dana to groom the trails this morning. He will snow comb the skating lanes and set new tracks around dawn. There may be small debris like pine needles and twigs on the trails due to the high winds yesterday and last night; we will clear as much of it as we can this morning. Conditions after grooming should be very good for skating and classic.
