As of 9:30am we are seeing light to moderate snow take over Northern Michigan with winds out of the South at 20-40mph with gusts nearing 50mph. Snow totals will reach 2-4″ with isolated higher amounts by tonight and tomorrow morning for areas of the U.P. and West of I-75/US-127 in the Lower Peninsula. Saturday will be windy with partly to mostly cloudy skies and just a chance for a light snow shower mainly in the Northern areas and near Lake Michigan. Some spots may catch some good sunshine especially closer to Lake Huron and inland for the Central L.P. Highs will be in the upper teens to mid 20s with gusty winds out of the West at 15-30mph. Sunday will be almost identical to Sunday except winds will be lighter with highs in the mid teens to mid 20s.
