Hartwick Pines State Park is one of the premier state parks in Michigan offering a wide array of programming and activities year round!

Located just outside of Grayling Michigan, Hartwick Pines State Park is 9,672 acres of beautiful woodlands, wetlands, lakes, rivers and even bogs! Donated to the state in 1927 by local resident Karen Hartwick, it serves to protect the remaining Old Growth white pine not logged during Michigan’s logging era.

Today, Hartwick Pines State Park offers not only a look at the history of our state but ample opportunities for visitors to hike, bike, ski, snowshoe, fish, kayak and just enjoy the beauty of northern Michigan throughout the year. In addition to this fun event, Hartwick Pines also hosts a number of other fun events including Black Iron Days, Maple Syrup Day, Forest Fest and more. Find out more about all this fun destination has to offer online or by contacting them directly.
