Intro to Precious Metal Clay Art Class – The AuSable Artisan Village offers several art classes this winter. One of our upcoming classes includes the Introduction to precious metal clay, a class taught by Clare Spaulding. 

INTRODUCTION TO PRECIOUS METAL CLAY Art Class, a class for adults taught by Clare Spaulding, will meet on Saturday, February 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $40 with an additional cost for supplies and materials.

Students will learn to create a range of forms, surfaces and textures with precious metal clay and then be guided through a firing experience to complete their art. Upon completion of the class, everyone will take home a beautiful one-of-a-kind silver necklace! This is a wonderful opportunity for those interested in clay and in jewelry making. 

There is a $35 additional fee for supplies and materials. Students are asked to bring cash to pay the instructor before the class begins.

Time for lunch will be provided while projects dry. Students can pack their own or purchase one at a local restaurant. Numerous restaurants and a deli are all located within walking distance of the Artisan Gallery on Michigan Avenue. Beverages are also available at Paddle Hard, located next door.
