2019 Guided Snowshoe Hikes – Hartwick Pines State Park
Guided snowshoe hikes into the old growth forest are offered at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Pre-registration is required.
Remember to dress for the weather. This event will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather. To pre-register contact the Hartwick Pines Visitor Center.
A Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks. To make a camping reservation, visit www.midnrreservations.com or call 1-800-447-2757.

Hartwick Pines is a beautiful area filled with some of the last remaining old growth White Pines in the state left from the logging era. Protected since the 1930s, thanks to Karen Hartwick, this park is home to over 40 acres of these beautiful pines. Just one of the amazing features of this park, Hartwick Pines offers a number of hiking and biking trails in addition to kayaking, fishing and even an auto tour.
