This most unique event is presented each year during the Holiday Season. It has been said to be, by many who have attended previous year’s productions, the most unique and memorable Christmas Season experience in the Midwest. The full evening’s experience consists of a tour through the historic farm by lantern light. The interior of all major buildings and the geographic landscape is breathtakingly illuminated by over 100 kerosene lanterns. Attendees will ride into the farm on an old fashioned bob sleigh, providing there is enough snow. But that’s not all! In each of five buildings, visitors will witness a 20-minute segment of the play, “A Place Called Wellington.” The performance is locally written, directed and produced and is based upon an event which took place in the community that once was Wellington many, many years ago.
