With the coming of the pandemic, Wellington Farm USA near Grayling was hard pressed to remain open. Volunteers were no longer available. It was next to impossible to hire help and visitors to the 60-acre living history farm were few. As a result, the farm opted to be open only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Some of the farm’s special events were canceled, some were rescheduled and some were held as planned.
In planning for the Fall season which is the most popular time for the farm, consideration was given to changes that would keep everyone safe. When it came time to begin construction of the Corn Maze, farm management was considering whether or not to even put forth the effort to build one. Then they came upon a cartoon version of the Corona Virus. That is now the center of the best corn maze ever created at Wellington Farm USA.
The Corona Corn Maze at Wellington Farm USA will be open on Fridays from 1:00 until 4:30; Saturdays from 11:00 to 4:30 and Sundays from 11:00 to 3:30. Admission to the maze is $8.00 per person. There is over one mile of trails in the maze and most will spend well over an hour to solve it. The shortest possible trail through the maze is over one-half mile in length.
Wellington Farm USA is a 60-acre living history complex located at 6944 South Military Road near Grayling with easy access from Exit 251 of I-75 and Exit 206 of US-127.
