Forbush Corner: Thursday, March 1, 8 am, 26 deg.  Gained yet another 2 inches of snow with “heavy” snow predicted for Friday.  The plan of the moment is to till it tonight as things chill and then again after Friday’s snow.  Setting the track and skate area will be accomplished Saturday morning.
The BIG dog, Oz, is here on vacation and looking forward to greeting his FC friends again.  So good to have him back if only for a short while.

Wednesday, Feb 29, 9 pm, 31 deg.  And the snow continues.  Have gained a total of about 1 foot of snow.  Still falling but for the moment at a slower rate.  Expecting the snow to continue for the next several days.
Open Saturday and Sunday.  Should be ideal mid-winter conditions.

Hanson Hills: Feb.29 We have received 6 inches of new snow and still more to come. Mike and Billy are out trying to Roll the Trail System. Conditions are going to be VERY SOFT AND VERY SLOW.. We are doing what we can. Travel Conditions are not the Best…and Ski Conditions will not be much better as long as this storm keeps up…Please be very careful.

Hartwick Pines State Park: Plenty of snow this morning at the park! Winter is certainly not done here in the Northwoods. Should have great snowshoeing conditions and once we can groom ski trails, they should be in great condition too.

XC Ski Headquarters: Total accumulation from yesterday’s snowfall was 7 to 9 inches of very dense snow. Groomers Greg and Stu spent most of the day packing, snowcombing and setting fresh tracks on all trails. By the end of the day everything was perfect!
Trail conditions are excellent for classic skiing and skate skiing ski on all trails.
