On Saturday evening, July 23, Wellington Farm near Grayling will present their second in a series of four Country Music Shows.   For this performance, the Wellington Country Music Show band will be joined by the Blue Water Ramblers, a popular bluegrass, folk and gospel music group.  Bench and bleacher seating is available at the Main Stage, however lawn chairs and blankets are permitted.  A small concession of snacks and drinks will be available.  In the event of rain, the show will be presented in the Stittsville Church.

Gates to the 60-acre living history farm will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will begin on the farm’s Main Stage at 7:30 p.m.  Price of admission is $12.50.   As a special bonus for this show, anyone who visits the park during the day on Saturday can purchase their ticket to the Country Music Show for only $5.00 if they buy their show ticket at the same time they pay for their park admission.

On Sunday afternoon, June 24 the Blue Water Ramblers will present a concert of gospel music on the Wellington Main Stage.  The concert will begin at 2:00 p.m.  This concert is presented free to park patrons who purchase regular park admission.  This is a great opportunity for families to visit the farm and see all the working displays and exhibits and enjoy an afternoon of gospel music all for one money.  Come early and visit the Grist Mill, Blacksmith Shop and Summer Kitchen, or stay late and view the new Livestock Barn, the Stittsville Church and the sawmill.  Tours of the historical park will be ongoing throughout the day.

Wellington Farm is open 6 days a week from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.  The last guided tour departs from the Visitor Center at 4:00 p.m.  Price of admission is $7.50 for adults, and $5.50 for seniors and students.  The farm now features a large display of Michigan Craft items for sale in the Visitor Center.   Michigan crafters are invited to bring their creations to Wellington if they would like to offer them for sale in the Farm Store.  Plans are currently in the making for the construction of a large merchandising facility in the near future which will be dedicated to the display and sale of  creations of Michigan Crafters.

Two great concerts in one weekend at Wellington Farm USA, where it’s always 1932.  Bring the entire family and make a day of it!  Lots to see, lots to do and lots to learn.  Wellington Farm is located at 6944 S. Military Road just off I-75 and US-127 southwest of Grayling.  The 60-acre facility depicts rural life as it was lived during the Great Depression.  Wellington Farm is open to the public from 9:00 until 5:00 6 days a week until Halloween.  The farm is closed on Monday.  Wellington Farm Park, Inc. is a 501©3 non profit corporation.
