The last weekend of August will find all kinds of activity at Wellington Farm Park when the Wellington Antique Tractor and Engine Club present their annual Tractor and Engine Show. Tractors of all shapes and sizes will begin arriving at the 60-acre living history farm on Thursday, August 25 and will be available for viewing throughout the entire weekend.

On Friday evening there will be a Tractor Safari. The tractor group will ride to a local food establishment for dinner and then return to the farm. Those wishing to participate should contact Wellington Farm for more information. Saturday and Sunday will be the big days with many events being scheduled for both days. Highlight of the day will be a big tractor and machinery parade each afternoon.

On Saturday evening, August 27 Wellington Farm, USA will present “The Wellington Country Music Show”. If you like old-fashioned country music and corney country humor, then this show is a must. Presented on one of the most picturesque outdoor stages in Northern Michigan, the Wellington show is a full evening of very enjoyable entertainment. Price of admission for the Variety show is only $12.50 and tickets are presently available at the farm’s Visitor Center or by phone. Steel guitars sing, the banjos ring and Ezra and Ethel Frogmire banter at the Wellington Barndance.
