BARK IN YOUR BOAT RIVER FLOAT JUNE 12TH!

We are so excited to make this announcement! Jim Humes, owner of Penrod’s Canoeing, and his dog, Auggie, invite everyone to spend a wonderful day of fun on the AuSable River on Saturday, June 12, 2010, to benefit AuSable Valley Animal Shelter. All proceeds will go to our building fund to pay for our wonderful facility. Penrod’s Canoeing is located at 100 Maple Street in Grayling, MI.

Registration: 9:30 am – 12 pm Launch: 10 am – 12:30 pm

Bring the whole family – River dogs welcome!

2 1/2 Hour Canoe/Kayak Trip from Penrod’s to Burton’s Landing — Picnic & Live Music by Local Artists

Kids’ Games & Face Painting — Silent Auction, Drawings & Prizes

Entry donation: $20 per person/$10 for kids under age 12

Launch your own boat or rent: Canoes – $20/Kayaks – $15 (Pay at event)
