Monthly the AuSable Artisan Village Art Gallery hosts visiting artists all hailing from the State of Michigan, but not necessarily local. The purpose of these events are to introduce the community to a new perspective in art and to introduce new artists and the followers of these artists to our community. Please stop into the AAV Gallery and welcome Catherine and Michael McClung on Saturday, June 30th where they will be presenting their award winning works of art. The exhibition will remain in the Gallery for the month of July.
Catherine McClung’s work appears on commercial products such as Lenox fine china. Her work was selected for the prestigious “Birds in Art” exhibition at the Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, WI both 2011 and 2012.
Michael McClung makes fine contemporary furniture from domestic and exotic woods like zebrawood, leopardwood, ebony, etc. Mike McClung was given a purchase award from the Muskegon Museum of Art at their 2012 Regional Exhibition.
